committee campaign

The Village Hall has now been open a year since the closure due to Covid 19. To say that we have been financially affected, like other village halls is an understatement. However the Village Hall Management Team continue to work hard trying to get the hall up and running again. We have lost some groups, but we are slowly recovering.

A big disappointment was having to shelve our extension project due to a range of circumstances. But we are now back on track having been awarded some grants; but we have altered our project to focus on a disabled cloakroom and extended kitchen. We are seeking new quotes for this smaller project. If you are interested in quoting for this please contact the treasurer on wendyshepherd9@gmail.com

The first AGM for over two years took place on the 22nd March 2022 and the accounts for the previous two years were also shared at the meeting. The accounts for 2021 are available at the village hall.

To celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Fordham Village Hall are joining the celebrations down at the John Owen Barn field. An excellent range of festivities have been organised by Fordham Parish Council.

John and Audrey Crees, committee members have organised a tombola to raise funds for the hall building project.
